The present paper, applying the network analysis and graphical modeling method, analyze how industrial relevancies between the city systems are formed by using industrial data in Japan. The paper is organized as follows. In the second section, a method to quantify the characteristics of a city system is explained by using a case study of the city systems in Yamagata prefecture in Japan.
