Because the definition of a fracture energy is based on macroscopic experiments. Therefore, it seems that the conventional fracture energy model will be not available for high-workable concrete and high-strength concrete. In these cases, it should be noted that the partial difference of stress and strain state in cement paste is taken into consideration.
