| 内容記述 | This paper analyzes impact of the external economies on production activity in region. Among the various external economies, the paper focuses two economies, city system economy and regional connection economy. The former is the economy created by a city system built in a region, and the latter is the economy created by the connection between the regions. Since it is difficult to directly measure influence of these economies on production activity in region, the paper indirectly measures the influence by using the city system index and the regional connection index. And it classifies the production activity in the 47 prefectures of Japan into four groups and extracts a regularity extracted by the classifying the prefectures into the four groups. The following two results are shown in this analysis. 1)Prefectures are classified into the four groups according to the spatial distance from the prefectures with large-scale economic activity. 2) Each group has characteristics in the manufacturing activity. It is suggested from these results that the production activity of the prefectures has been influenced by economies generated by the city system and the regional connection. |
