This travel to Manchuria is the only Chinese experience of Taiko, and it is the origin of the image of Chinese people written by Taiko. She had only described Chinese as the other in both works of “Abandon” and “In Treatment Room”, but in “Laying Train”, they are written as a member of the proletariat in the world as well as Japanese workers. Taiko described their awakening, frustration and victory of class consciousness against Japanese imperialism.
