Among four skills, listening and speaking skills are essential skills for communication. The development of technology has enabled English teachers and learners to access to Educational Technology(EdTech)tools to teach and learn English listening and speaking. In this chapter, based on theoretical backgrounds of second language acquisition, EdTech tools that can be used for teaching and learning English listening and speaking are introduced. Also, issues related to speaking tests using technologies are discussed. The use of EdTech might enable teachers to use more class time for meaningful communicative tasks and students to spend more time learning English outside of the classes autonomously. At the end of this chapter, suggestions about how teachers can support students to be autonomous language learners while they are learning English listening and speaking using Ed-Tech will be proposed.}, pages = {17--39}, title = {EdTech を活用した英語4 技能指導と学習――(前編)EdTech を使ったリスニングとスピーキング指導と学習――}, volume = {2}, year = {2022}, yomi = {サイトウ, ユキエ} }
