| 内容記述 | This paper verifies that the causal structure of Japanese voting participation has changed since the 2000s. In the late 2000s, many Japanese have begun to recognize Japan as a disparate society. Even in a disparate society, the distribution of Japanese people’s feelings of life satisfaction has not changed significantly from before. However, life satisfaction has changed the behavior of Japanese voters. It is because in a disparate society, it is almost impossible for people to move upper class. As a result, those who are dissatisfied with their lives increase their apathy and alienation, and actively reject politics. I clarified the relationship between life satisfaction and voting participation by logistic regression analysis and graphical modeling. |
