Adopting a constructivist approach,a project where the third-year university students planned English lessons and taught English to second-year students using a VR platform,Immerse,was implemented During the project,the VR English lessons were video recorded. After the project,a questionnaire and a group interview was conducted with the third-year students who participated as teachers. The analysis of the videos,the questionnaire,and the group interview showed that the VR scenes and the objects in the scenes helped mediate communication with the students. They also thought they improved their English-speaking skills,worked collaboratively,and adopted higher thinking skills.
