| 内容記述 | The Criminal Law （as to Sexual Offenses） Subcommittee of the Japanese Legislative Council has discussed the reinforcement measures against sexual offenses since October 2021,including "to criminalize a conduct to tame the youth for the purpose of sexual intercourse or indecent acts （so-called grooming）." Although the grooming is a heinous conduct that leads to or facilitates sexual offenses,there is no general provision to punish the preparation of sexual offenses as of the writing of this article.Whereas,South Korea criminalized the online grooming against children in March 2021,which would provide useful suggestions for considering the way to tackle this type of preparatory conducts in Japan.This article,therefore,introduces histories of adopting the regulation on online grooming in South Korea,and discusses details of the provision and some issues relating to it. |
