| 内容記述 | Abstract Our life heavily relies on the economic system in many cases. The economic system has markets for goods and services, and markets for factors of production. Firms and households can be largely supported by this particular mechanism. However, there are several problematic issues due to an over-expectation to the economic system. The economic system works under various constraints, and it is not possible to cover all activities by this single specific tool. To improve our quality of life, regional policy that supports missing elements of the economic system may play an important role. This article reveals the relationship between regional policy and quality of life from the standpoint of welfare economics, and addresses policy remedies which may vary with observing regions. | |||||||||
