In Japanese academic context, discourse analysis is not always regarded as a part of social research methodology, while both of them aim for searching others and events. As the introduction of this research, this paper proposes the possibility of integrating both methodologies toward a comprehensive research method for understanding others. As this paper shows, discourse analysis as a method of defining the threshold of discursive space makes clear the social position of the analyst with enhancing his/her ethical stance against his/her research. Under the context of the crisis of social research where researchers are often encountering the refusal of being researched by his/her informants, the author hypothesizes that discourse analysis and its effect must contribute to represent the researchers’ stance toward his/her informants in their research. In conclusion, in order to prove this hypothesis, this paper argues that further research should be conducted on the issue of how the problematization of this paper can be applied to the discourse of research ethics and the practice of social research.}, pages = {47--56}, title = {社会調査法と言説分析の関係性について──他者理解の方法論への貢献に向けて 序──}, volume = {26}, year = {2023} }
