Although the practice of inquiry-based learning in high schools is gradually increasing, quantitative research on its educational effects is still scarce. In many high school settings, teachers are still faced with the problem of not knowing how to introduce inquiry learning and the difficulty of evaluating it, and in many cases, it has not become a school-wide initiative. This research aims at describing the effect of inquiry-based learning, and the level of awareness of students who experienced it. In this research, after implementing inquiry-based learning in a media education class, students were asked for their impressions of the class in an open-ended format. The quantitative text analysis was used to extract frequently occurring words, and create a co-occurrence network. Based on the results of the study, it was proved that the introduction of inquiry-based learning helps students recognize the importance of respecting different backgrounds, opinions, diversity, while conducting experiments in a work group during class, and also they recognized that it's a very crucial skill needed when entering the workforce in the future.}, pages = {179--193}, title = {探究学習プログラムの実践研究──高等学校「情報Ⅰ」におけるPBL の実践を通して──}, volume = {26}, year = {2023} }
