As women writers who both write urban novels， Zhang Ai Ling was active during the Republican period of China, It was the time of just entering moderninization of China. In relative terms, Wang An Yi began her literary activities in the “new era” after the Cultural Revolution as the lives of the Chinese people was greatly changed by western culture.\n With the different background characteristics of times, Zhang Ai Ling and Wang An Yi described about accessory culture in their creations may be extremely significant as far as epochal character and cultural studies are concerned. The study aimed at clarifying the two different epochal character and the accessory culture of their ages.
