| 内容記述 | Our research team in the Institute of Social Sciences at Chuo University conducted fieldwork research in Almaty and surrounding areas in Kazakhstan in September 2022. This research note describes the information we acquired during our fieldwork research. The purpose of the research was to investigate the impact of Chinese One Belt One Road foreign policy on the life of people living in the areas affected by the policy. We set our temporal research site in a small local village called “Nura” to conduct interviews to the local residents and neighbors. This research note describes the content of information we obtained from several interviewees during our stay in Nura. Our research findings are, though still provisional, that（1） a significant impact of the One Belt One Road policy has been felt by the local residents,（2） the impact ranges from economic, cultural, social to emotional aspects of the local residents, and（3） the impact is felt from the individual life to family and community life. | |||||||||
