| 内容記述 | In South Korea, the so-called "Juvenile Sexuality Protection Act" was amended in 2021 to criminalize online grooming and establish the special investigative provisions for undercover investigation of digital sexual crimes, including online grooming. The amendment was induced by a series of sexual exploitation cases, such as a case involving a group chat room for sharing sexually exploited materials of children, which led to the formation of socially shared awareness on the need for criminal regulation of digital sexual crimes. This paper briefly reviews recent discussions on the crime of online grooming and the system of undercover investigation introduced by the revision, focusing on the ways to improve the current laws. | |||||||||||
