| 内容記述 | In today’s interpretation of Buddhism, Buddhism is understood as one of many religions or as a belief system, and no active entry into further interpretations is avoided. A possible reason for this is the low evaluation of Buddhist civilization based on a nationalistic interpretation of history based on modern Shinto after the Meiji era. However, in the history of Japan, the acceptance of Buddhism was not just the acceptance of faith, but the acceptance of Buddhist civilization and the modernization of the Japan itself. This essay briefly examines the background of the adoption of Buddhism, which can be called the first modernization of Japan and the first civilization and enlightenment, and the traces of the Indian monk Bodhisena as a symbolic event. |
