| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to clarify the needs of social work professionals to use electronic record systems, using an interview with the social workers at children’s homes. The research methods used included a literature review, an interview using semi-structured interviews,and an analysis of interview data that utilizes the KJ method. The literature studyorganizes the purpose of children’s homes, the nature of their work, and features of how the records are handled. Additionaly, based on the results of an interview conducted with two members of staff of children’s homes, the needs for constructing and using electronic record systems were identified. As a results of this study, it was discovered that records at children’s homes have the following characteristics: 1) they are essential for maintaining continuous multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional work with the children, 2) the process of creating records is an opportunity to strengthen the understanding of the lives and circumstances of children and consider the nature of support policies, and 3) the fact that the records themselves help the child find their own identity and get involved in the support process. Additionally, from an analysis of the interview data, the following needs of children’s home staff became apparent: 1) to reduce the time and effort required for record-related work, 2) to obtain a design and an operational framework that is user-friendly, and 3) to use it as a communication tool for collaboration. |
