| 内容記述 | Under the stagnation of domestic demand and the decline of domestic industry in Japan, real income and disposable income have tended to decline and stagnate, leading to stagnation in consumption expenditure. This has not only led to a contraction of domestic demand, but also to an increase in demand for imported goods in search of cheaper consumer goods, which in turn has put pressure on domestic demand industries. Since the 2000s, the trend towards wage restraint among people in their 30s and 40s has intensified, leading to a decline in food intake among this generation. The trend in consumption demand for all generations was a decline in relatively high unit price beef, fruit and seafood, and a maintenance and expansion in low unit price pork, poultry and imported products linked to the food service, food service and processing industries. In the background, the instability of the supply of agricultural, livestock and fishery products due to the decline of the Japanese agriculture and fisheries industries, and the opening up of markets through the mega-EPAs are pointed out. |
