| 内容記述 | This research note describes how China’s One Belt One Road policy has affected the local community in Kazakhstan, using the information we have acquired during our fieldwork conducted in a local village in 2022 and 2023. Starting in 2013, China’s One Belt One Road policy has brought in a new form of exchange between China and neighboring countries, such as establishing new firms and plants and an influx of Chinese people in the target countries. Through that process, it has also affected the life of people in the target countries by increasing the amount of interaction between Chinese people and them. We set our research site in Nura, a small local village located to the southeast of Almaty, to conduct fieldwork and interviews with the local residents. To confirm our research findings last year, we find （1） significant amount of impact of the One Belt One Road policy is found in the life of the local residents,（ 2） the impact scatters around redidents’ economic, cultural, social life. | |||||||||||
