| 内容記述 | This paper examines the impact of AI and digital technologies on management accounting and accounting education. Historically, management accounting has focused on minimizing deviations from pre-set goals using a “cybernetic model.” However, recent studies emphasize the role of accounting in enhancing organizational capabilities by enabling flexible decision- making in high-uncertainty environments. With the rapid advancement of AI, the role of accountants is shifting towards higher-value tasks like judgment and advisory services. AI’s evolution from simple automation to complex models, such as foundation models (FM) and multimodal foundation models (MFM), brings both opportunities and challenges. These technologies enable integration of diverse data types but also face issues like data sufficiency and potential biases. In accounting practice, AI’s application is constrained by data security concerns and the difficulty of replicating vast learning datasets. Educationally, traditional methods focused on calculation and technical skills need to adapt to new realities. Emphasizing experiential learning, understanding business contexts, and decision-making skills becomes crucial as automation takes over routine tasks. Future research will address how AI can be effectively integrated into organizational contexts and accounting education. | |||||||||||
