| 内容記述 | The characteristics and direction of the Japanese government’s “decarbonization” measures and the responses of Japanese companies, particularly MHI’s business development, were discussed. Japan’s “decarbonization” measures emphasize the expansion of nuclear power and the use of hydrogen and ammonia. In response to the government’s nuclear power support measures, Japanese companies are expanding their nuclear power businesses, but are requesting government support due to increased costs. It is questioned whether the use of hydrogen and ammonia will lead to “decarbonization” in terms of cost and energy efficiency. MHI is expanding its nuclear power plant and hydrogen and ammonia businesses in accordance with government policy, and is also expanding its military-related business. With policy thus heavily influencing industrial and business interests, there are also concerns that industrial and business interests will be distorted by important policies such as “decarbonization” and security. | |||||||||||||||||
