| 内容記述 | The 1965 Stock Corporation Act added the functions of “advice and cooperation” to the supervisory board. As a result, the supervisory board, in which banker chairman has influence over the other supervisor, came to function as an advisory body from a strategic perspective. Under the such circumstances, the supervisory board took on the role of a connecting point with other companies through interlocking directorate. This study addresses the issue of “interlocking directorate in Germany” based on the question of whether the characteristic German structure—where supervisory board members dispatched from banks wield significant influence and control over industrial enterprises—still applies today. If it no longer holds, the focus shifts to examining how the situation has evolved. |
