| 内容記述 | Philosopher Amable's view is useful for identifying the differences between capitalism in Korea and the Nordic countries. He focuses on the fact that, since the 1990s, large differences in competition between countries have been recognized, in contrast to the product market competition that has been adopted in many OECD countries. In this regard, he has derived the example of Korea, which has transitioned to a market system, and the institutional peculiarities of social democracy that has taken root in the Nordic countries. Today, much of Asian corporate governance is unified into market-based capitalism. Based on this “institutional hierarchy,” Anglo-Saxon-style marketism has developed, and the market is considered to play a part in “institutional complementarity.” In contrast, in Nordic countries,the government is positioned at the top of the institutional hierarchy, making it possible for the government, rather than the market, to implement social democratic policies. In what follows,I would like to make an institutional comparison between Korea and Nordic countries by specifically using the “incompleteness of contracts” advocated by Samuel Bowles. |
