| 内容記述 | This study examines the practice of audio content production based on Shannon and Weaver’s communication theory in order to explore the possibilities of media education in the AI age. Reinterpreting Shannon-Weaver’s theory as a model of information transfer, the study focuses on the importance of language transfer and paralinguistic elements of spoken media. The class practice involved project-based learning (PBL) in which students planned and produced audio content in the form of podcasts and radio, aiming to improve metacognitive skills and foster authenticity of self-expression through the production process. In particular, we theoretically examined the significance of “speaking in one’s own voice” amid the generalization of text generation by AI, and clarified the educational effects of audio media on introspective thinking and independent learning through a questionnaire analysis based on students’ free writing. Furthermore, from the perspective of the shift in learning from knowledge transfer-based (content-based) to inquiry-based (competency-based), we discuss how audio content production facilitates learner learning. This study reaffirms the indispensable value of the unique human “voice” and “expression” as AI technology permeates the educational environment, and suggests the educational potential of audio media and its prospects for communicating appeal from universities. |
