| 内容記述 | This study examines the relationship between goal commitment and unethical organizational behaviors (UPB). I analyzed the impact of commitment to the budget goal on managers' willingness to engage in unethical pro-organizational behavior (WUPB). Analysis of data collected via a web survey confirmed that higher goal commitment suppressed WUPB. Furthermore, it was confirmed that this relationship is strengthened when the difficulty level of the goal is low. The findings suggest that heightened goal commitment leads to the internalization of organizationally imposed goals as personal objectives. This internalization evokes stronger feelings of both guilt and pride when engaging in UPB. Consequently, it reinforces the desire to avoid achieving goals through unethical means and encourages the seeking of goal attainment through legitimate means. | |||||||||||
