| 内容記述 | The world wealth distribution has been shown skewed. This has been known as the Pareto Rule which tells us that the 80% of the total wealth is occupied by the 20% of the total population. There are some factors behind the situation that the rich gets richer. In this paper we model an equal-opportunity society where individuals may earn their return based on how much they invested or lose their investment with an equal probability for everyone. Even though these individuals are guaranteed equal opportunity to get richer or poorer, we show that the wealth distribution in our model becomes uneven over time. We also show that the uneven wealth distribution does not imply that the rich stays rich forever, that is, pride goes before a fall. Moreover, we have examined appropriation for the uneven wealth distribution by introducing taxation into our model. | |||||||||||||||||
