| 内容記述 | Databases are considered as one typical kind of information sources in reseach activity and daily management. Commercial databases and information retrieval services made a grand appearance in an “problem-oriented” era. The conditions in the last two decades of the 20th century were stated for Japanese database service indutry. The performance of the industry in the United States was far ahead of that of Japan. This may be believed to be due primarily to public acceptance to database and “indexing”. | |||||||||
