| 内容記述 | The concern over communities as the ways of being in the context of post-welfare statism has risen, but the methodological problem of how we capture the ‶bubbling” communities that cannot be reduced to any institutional organizations still remains. The reason of this difficulties is we have lost a coherent view of communities and feel confused about ambivalent features, mobility and territoriality, of post-modern communities. The previous urban ethnic studies in Japan from 1990’s have produced a methodology of community studies focusing on places as clusters of social networks nodes and events as communication processes. It is necessary for community studies after “discovering” urban ethnicity to capture particular cases of events occurring specific places and their latent processes as historical and social conditions. | |||||||||
