| 内容記述 | This paper treats the subject of formative period of the Bank of Italy (la Banca dʼItalia) as the Italian central bank. The Bank of Italy was build formally in August 1893. But it was not build in a day, that is, it didnʼt provided perfectly function as the central bank of Italy. Because 2 banks of issue, the Bank of Sicily (la Banca di Sicilia) and the Bank of Naples (la Banca di Napoli) yet remained in the southern Italy, after formation of the Bank of Italy in 1893. Therefore, a history of the Bank of Italy very complicated and troublesome. To begin with, Antecedent of the Bank of Iyaly was the Natinal Bank of Sardinia (la Banca nazionale Sarda) which is costituted with the formation of the Monarchy of Sardinia in 1849. This bank was constituted as the Bank of Italy by combination of the Tuscan National Bank (la Banca Nazionale Toscana) and the Tuscan Credit Bank (la Toscana di Gredito per le industrie ed il commercio). At the same time, the Bank of Rome in Papal States (la Banca Romana in Stato pontificio) was liquidated because of bankruptcy, and then absorbed by the Bank of Iyaly. The description of this paper is as follows. I. Foundation of the National Bank of Sardinia (la Banca Nazionale Sarda), II. The Bank of Papal States (La Banca Romana), III. The Tuscan National Bank (La Banca Nazionale Toscana), IV. The Banks of Southern Italy (La Banca di Sicilia e La Banca di Napoli), V. A course of the Bank of Italy. Finally, I will treat reasons of foundation of the Italian Commercial Bank (la Banca commerciale italiana) and the General Bank (la Banca Generale), too. The reason is that 2 Banks played an important parts in the development of Italian economy after foundation of the central bank. |
