| 内容記述 | In the evening of the 14th or the morning of the 15th of January, fire festival events such as Sagicho and Tondoyaki are held all over the country. At this time, in the Oura, which is a fishing village in Isotake-cho, Oda City, a temporary hut called Guro is set up, where the New Yearʼs god Toshitokujin or Toshitokosan is greeted. This event, called “Isotake no Guro or Guro of Isotake” which has been recognized as an important intangible folk cultural property of the country since 2005, is held to pray for a big catch and to pray for a disease-free life, and to burn Guro for sending him back The god has been venerated as the ancestral spirit sublimated into god. Based on the findings obtained from a total of four field surveys from 2018 to 2020, I will try to describe the overall picture of the event as much as possible and keep it at the latest record at the present time. The composition of this research note is based on the description from the primary materials that I actually saw and heard in the Ora area, the origin and etymology of Guro, and my private consideration of similar events in other places, and the list of literature materials related to Guro events. | |||||||||
