"本論文の目的は、第48次南極地域観測隊（以降、第48次隊）を事例とし、組織の活性化メカニズムを解明し、結果的に第48次隊がどのような組織になったのかを明らかにすることである。第48次隊は、日本、しらせ、南極での活動を通し、劇的に環境が変化する中で、急速にその組織を変化させていった。そのプロセスを、組織レベル、集団レベル、個人レベルの3つの視点から質的研究にて探る。\n第48次隊は、最終的に組織全体が縮減された解釈で繋がり、組織全体を俯瞰した考えによる活動ができ、集団はその時々で全体最適になるべく活性化していた。一方、個人は、五感をフルに活用し、環境、組織、集団、個人に対し、能動的に働きかける。その際、自己の解釈を柔軟にすることで、環境や他者の解釈を受け入れやすい状態になり、感覚（センス）を磨き自律的になる。その結果、組織は、シンクロニゼーションを起こし、人と人の関係性だけでつながっている状態であった。この組織の状態を、『シンクロ組織』と呼ぶ。\n本論文で示した『シンクロ組織』は、短時間で組織の活性化を可能とする。この組織に至るプロセスの検討は、不確実な社会での活動に対して有効な示唆を与えられると考える。",
