| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of how dynamic capabilities build and rebuild business models in setting up an overseas business. By constructing an analytical framework that extends Teeceʼs dynamic capabilities (DC) framework and using it to analyze the case of Chengdu Ito-Yokado (CIY), we examined how the Japanese retailer gained and sustained its competitive advantage in an overseas market. This study examined how DC factors had influenced CIYʼs business model (BM) from the introduction to growth stages, and also explored the relationship among those factors. We confirmed that the differentiated BM was due to DC which (re)generated BMʼs transformation in sustaining the competitive advantage. Through the case analysis, we have validated the effectivity of the preliminary analytical framework for use. | |||||||||
