| 内容記述 | Recently, online surveys have been generalized to statistical surveys, including official statistics, to reduce labor and costs. However, the large number of items and the length of the questionnaire may have caused a decline in the response rate, leading to sampling bias in the analysis results. In addition, the deterioration in the quality of the responses raises doubts about the reliability of the results. One way to reduce this burden on respondents is to utilize a split questionnaire design in which items are sampled to form several subsets that are then randomly assigned to respondents. To some extent, this method allows us to control the mechanism of missing data from the survey design stage, and its implementation becomes easier with imputation methods and improvements in the computational environment. This study arranges the historical process of this survey method and reviews the features of the sampling survey items and their availability. | |||||||||||||||||
