| 内容記述 | Wealth distributions in many countries are known skewed, reflecting that the majority of the total wealth is owned by a small number of people. The onset of this kind of unevenness in the wealth distribution is studied based on the additive and multiplicative randomwalk models. The wealth distribution is shown to be given by a normal distribution for the additive randomwalk and by a log-normal distribution for the multiplicative randomwalk. The associated analytical expressions for the decile distribution and the Gini's coefficient are derived. The envelope of the decile distribution is represented by a linear line for the normal distribution and by a power-law (the Pareto distribution) from the lognormal distribution. Furthermore the Gini's coefficient is found bounded by an upper limit for the additive randomwalk and not bounded for the multiplicative randomwalk. A reasoning is made that the unevenness is "acceptable" for the additive randomwalk and "unacceptable" for the multiplicative randomwalk. | |||||||||||||||||
