| 内容記述 | This article examined two tasks that our collective research project have tackled in the aftermath of 3/11: How does one deal with the importance of the physical limits of society, and how does one capture the process of change in the self? Based on the discussion of the “planetary society”（Melucci 1996）, a society completely interconnected within itself but still dependent on the planet Earth, we realized first that the main conflicts in the “planetary society” take place within the cultural field by the processes of “denaturalization of nature” and “culturalization of conflicts”. Various actors have struggled to define social reality and nature from their point of view. Second, we discussed how bodily experience becomes an arena in which such conflicts manifest. Third, to realize its potential for collective action, we showed that the bodily experience should function from a consciousness raising, through “listening approach” rather than from a “problem-solving approach”. Finally, we concluded that reconsidering the meaning of the physical limits of our body provides an opportunity for the metamorphosis of the self. | |||||||||
