| 内容記述 | In this paper, we report the results of an online survey conducted in September 2021, on the usage of communication media, among middle-aged and older people aged 40-69 years. First, we found that middle-aged and older adults use mobile media and PC-based devices for messaging and Internet services, depending on the situation and service contents. Next, we focused on the characteristics of the usage of social networking services （SNS）, which are increasingly being used by middle-aged and older people. We explored the characteristics of SNS users and non-users, and examined whom they connect with and what they do on SNS. Based on these findings, we would like to analyze the results of another nationwide survey conducted in December 2021, and compare the results with those of the 2001 and 2011 surveys in order to understand the impact of the spread of mobile media. | |||||||||||||
