| 内容記述 | The “Heisei-no-Daigappei” brought about the emergence of enlarged municipalities in many prefectures in Japan. We can often nd out the more complicated structure of “Will of the People” in those cities compared with each former municipality before the amalgamation. I focused on the referendum held in 2010 at Saku City of Nagano where four municipalities have amalgamated in 2005, and analyzed the voting behavior and the feeling about Saku city holding the referendum by using a mail survey. Comparative analyses between center and periphery of Saku respondents suggest that evaluation for the amalgamation affect voting behavior more significantly in periphery area of Saku than center, and that respondents of each area respectively have different points of view for evaluating on holding the referendum. | |||||||||
