| 内容記述 | Based on the current conditions surrounding working women, I had an opportunity to conduct research on the women's workforce in Hawaii with the help of the Center on Family (COF) at the University of Hawaii. What impressed me the most during the research was that traditionally in Hawaii, there exists a better working environment for women, and there also remains a strong presence of family-centered communities. Although there are many differences between Japan and Hawaii regarding their government, society, and cultures etc., I believe WLB in Hawaii has many thought-provoking implications for Japan. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to a better WLB for the Japanese working women by studying and analyzing WLB for the women workers in Hawaii. | |||||||||
